DishMark

Privacy notice

What personal data DishMark holds, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we hold about you

Your name, your login email address, and optionally your company, job role, a separate billing email address and separate report delivery addresses. We hold your report profiles, your reports, and your billing history.

Payment card details are handled by Stripe and are never stored by DishMark.

What we collect about establishments

We collect business information published publicly by food businesses: trading name, address, contact details and the menus they publish. Where a sole trader's business details are also personal data, we hold them on the basis of legitimate interest in providing market benchmarking, and will remove an establishment on request.

Why we hold it

To operate your account, build and deliver your reports, take payment, and answer your enquiries. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your report profiles to target advertising.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete your account, or object to processing. Email us and we will respond within one month.

Retention

Account and report data is kept while your account is open, and for six years afterwards where required for tax and accounting. Collected menu observations are retained as a historical price series, which is what makes change reporting possible.
